Rather than trying to escape Sacramento's super-hot temperatures, we decided to embrace them by heading to Folsom Lake for an afternoon of boating!
Ever since I left for college, summers just haven't been the same.
Utah just doesn't compare.
Throughout basically my whole life, summer was filled with trips to the lake- houseboating on Shasta, camping at Oroville, boating/jetskiing at Folsom. So it was nice to be back to a familiar place!
The lake wasn't too crowded & the water was warm.
PERFECT.
Sunburns were prevented.
H20 was consumed.
We cruised around the lake.
