The Nutcracker

Every year, I see the Sacramento Ballet's performance of The Nutcracker. The whole holiday season would not be the same without it! This year, we won't be in Sacramento for Christmas, and so Kevin, being the wonderful husband he is, agreed to go with me to see the Nutcracker in Salt Lake City! Before going to the ballet, we stopped at the Fashion Place Mall for a bit to kill time and ate at the Cheesecake Factory.

Here is Kevin with his giant burger before...

Here is Kevin eating the LAST bite of the gigantic burger.

The Nutcracker was performed by Ballet West at the Capital Theater. The Capital Theater was pretty neat looking- It had that whole antique/ olden day look. The theater was fairly large and since we are on a college student's budget, we purchased the cheapest tickets, which were for the very back on the balcony. The funny thing is.... that section of the theater seemed to be the most crowded. After taking notice, Kevin and I devised a plan and sneaked down to better seats. From there, the show was very enjoyable! The Sacramento Ballet's performance was way, way better but we still had a good time. This was Kevin's first time seeing the Nutcracker and he loved it! NOT. But he did not complain, and that made me even more happy.

  1. You should have come to my show! It was cheaper, relatively, and still a semi-professional show!!
